Thriving Two·stateFirstSearch Project

What do you get when you' add another state to an al~
ready successful statewide project? A unified, coopera-'
tive effort that brings even lower prices and greate(
benefits to all its participating libraries.

That's the ~esult of an agreement signed in July by a '
consortium or Colorado libraries and the Kansas State
Library. The agreement, made through BCR, provid~
s FirstSearch databases to hundreds of Kansas li,
braries. The Kansas portion of the project,is being:
funded for a year by the Interlibrary Loa:,{ Development
Program and the cooperation of KansaS' 23
ILDP Resource Libra'ries with the option of continued
funding in thefuiure.·
