The Advisory Panel for the Pittsburgh Regional Union List of
Periodicals is chaired by Linda Greene of the University of pitts­burgh.
ANNUAL MEETING OF MEMBERS: The annual meeting was held concurrently
with the Fall meeting of the Board of Trustees on Friday afternoon,
September 24, in the Conference Room of the Hunt Ins t'i tute for
Botanical Documentation at Carnegie-Mellon University. Trustees,
delegates, and/or alternates from 15 of the 19 member institutions
were present. In addition we welcomed as guests Mis.s Gertrude
Oetting of. the Allegheny Campus of the Community College of Allegheny
County; Hr. Robert E. Connell ofWashingtpn and Jefferson College;
and Nr. Joseph G. K. Miller of the Pittsburgh Council on Higher.
Education. Dr. Virginia Sternberg of Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory
and Mrs. Mildred Myers of the Federal Reserve Bank attended the
meeting as representatives of the Special Libraries Association.
PITTSBURGH REGIONAL UNION LIST OF PERIODICALS: .Mr. Martin reported
to the Board of Trustees.on an analysis of the·present status of
this project and requirements for production of a second edition
of the list. To implement the recommendations resulting from this
analysis, he was authorized by the Board to make application through
the Pennsylvania State Library for Library Services and Construction
