OLA GOING TO MFLA: Performing
Arts Center Visited ... And it's beautiful!

To anyone who has not visited Milwaukee,
you are in for a very pleasant surprise.
The OLA/OLTA Awards and Honors Banquet is
scheduled for the Performing Arts Center in
Milwaukee during the third MFLA quadrennial
conference. This beautiful s i te is just
east of the MECCA (convention center). The
handsome structure may be one of the best
performing arts centers to be built since
the post wa r building-for-culture boom be­gan.
The center has three halls within a
sing le building with facil iti es which make
it possible to effectively mount s ix diff­erent
kinds of musical and dramatic perform­ances.
The OLA/OLTA Awards and Honors Banquet
will be held on Friday evening November 2.
Plans for dutch-treat cocktails wi th music
wil l begin at 6:00 PM. Dinner will be se r­ved
at 7:00 PM in the banquet room over-
• looking the Milwaukee River to the west.
The MFLA program continues to grow. Key-
